Installing and Repairing Toilets, Faucets, and More

We install and service all makes and models. Faucets are high-use fixtures, and consequently, the internal sealing components often break down resulting in drips and leaks. Before making the decision to repair a faucet, one should always examine the surface where the various seals are seated. These surfaces should always be free of corrosion, mineral deposits, and clean. If a careful examination reveals surface pitting or other corrosion, then one should consider replacing that faucet.

Toilet Service and New Install

The internal components of your commodes very often wear out. This is both due to use and to the vitality of the water that sits inside the tank. In some cases, well water or water supplied by the purveyor of such can be very corrosive and aggressively break down internal metal components. We offer both a minor and a major rebuild.

A diagnosis of the problem dictates what should be performed. We also install new toilets and more often, the homeowner selects the commode that aesthetically appeals to them. However, we advise that one’s decision to purchase a particular model commode should be based more on the commode’s flushing ability. This is captured by the toilet’s grams per flush rating. We do not recommend toilets with a less than 600 grams per flush rating. Also, depending on the application, one may also consider other factors such as gallons per flush or the height of the toilet.

Water Heater Installation and Replacement

Whether it is a new installation or it is the replacement of an existing water heater—we can help! The life expectancy for most units is between eight (8) and twelve (12) years. In some cases, it may be more expedient to replace an old water heater as opposed to performing another repair. At this point, we will help you decide which unit is right for you based on initial expense, unit quality, and ongoing operating expense.

Tankless Water Heater Repair and Servicing

As with regular water heaters, tankless water heaters must also be serviced periodically. They need to be descaled/delimed and the inlet screens removed and cleaned. Whether a repair or a regular service, we are qualified to maintain your tankless water heater.

Backflow Maintenance

Most manufacturers recommend performing a major rebuild at least every three to five years. This means replacing all rubbers and springs. For some models, the rebuild kits are quite expensive and not all are carried by local distributors or retailers. For 1-inch and ¾-inch devices, consider replacing them if the brass is pitted or shows corrosion or if the device has been previously rebuilt.

Drain Cleaning

We offer both internal and external drain cleaning and sewer line camera inspection services. This starts with a service as basic as a toilet auger, to a more complicated project, such as replacing a compromised sewer line. Repairs are more common than replacement and the damage is usually caused by a lawnmower, vehicle, or tree roots.

As a homeowner, it is helpful to know where the sewer line exits the foundation. This will help you to identify the sewer clean-out, which allows above-ground access to an otherwise buried pipe. Please do not landscape over such a critical and money-saving item.
